Requirement

Criteria for student to return to school.

Positive Test

Isolation Period=5 days Day 0 is first day of symptoms OR day the positive test was taken whichever is earlier.

If asymptomatic or symptoms are resolving and fever free for 24 hours without the use of medications, they may return after day 5.

If child has a negative test on day 5 or later, no mask is needed in school. Masks must be worn until day 10 or until a negative test result is received.

Symptoms with Negative Test

May return to school 24 hours after symptoms resolve AND a
negative test.

We ask for open communication regarding symptoms so that we can notify families when appropriate of illness exposure in the school or class.

Exposure but No Symptoms

May continue to attend as long as long as asymptomatic. Masking is recommended until day 10 following exposure and a test is recommended on day 6 of exposure.
